HKUST occupies a stunning 150-acre site overlooking the pristine Clearwater Bay, located on the Sai Kung Peninsula. The area is often considered as one of Hong Kong’s havens for outdoor lovers .Hong Kong Island is roughly 45 minutes away by bus and train, giving students access to the international business world of the island as well as the multi-cultural mix of shops, restaurants, museums and historic monuments. Living Arrangements
All International Summer Program students are housed in dormitories on campus. All students at HKUST are fluent in English. All students pay out of pocket for meals at 10 cafeterias and restaurants on campus. There is no meal plan.
