Strengthen your professional skills & explore Chinese culture with the CAPA Global Business Institute in Shanghai!

The CAPA Global Business Institute is a Certificate Program in partnership with the University of Pittsburgh’s College of Business Administration. You'll take AACSB accredited courses, participate in an optional internship, go on group visits to businesses in Shanghai, and develop a sharply focused competence in business in a global context.

The CAPA Program Fee for GBI Shanghai includes:
  • 15 Credits from the University of Pittsburgh, an AACSB founding member and accredited institution 
  • Classes on the beautiful garden campus of highly-ranked East China Normal University (ECNU) near downtown Shanghai
  • Certificate in Global Business from the University of Pittsburgh's College of Business Administration
  • Optional English- or Mandarin-speaking internship placement within the business field
  • Site visits to businesses and corporations in Shanghai
  •  Housing in international residence halls on campus at ECNU
