Program Description:

This program is only open to UMass Nursing students.

Students will be enrolled in four courses taught by local instructors at Universidad CEU San Pablo for a total of 14 UMass credits. Options include:

Perspectives in Nursing (Nursing 100): Required. 3 credits
Perspectives on Aging (Nursing 202): Required. 4 credits
Anatomy and Physiology II: Required. 4 credits, includes a lab
Choice of General Education Requirement: 4 credits

Program participants will have the option to choose between a student dormitory or stay with a host family.

Additionally, shared flats will be made available only to students have specific dietary restrictions upon approval from UMass Amherst.

Airport pickup is provided to students who arrive in Madrid on a specified arrival day, within a specific timeframe. Airport pickup will be arranged late in the summer prior to the start of the program. No airport return is provided at the end of the program

Students will participate in an on-site orientation with API's On-Site Program Director, including a comprehensive orientation of Madrid.

Over the course of the semester, students on the nursing program will have the option to participate with other US students on arranged excursions around or outside of Madrid. Exact details to be determined closer to the program start date.
